Meredith has been "drawn" to the arts all her life. She attended the National Ballet School from age 9 to 13. Then Visual Arts took over as her main passion. Her first job at an amusement park at the age of 16 initiated her into the world of portraiture. She went on to complete a Fine Arts degree at the University of Guelph and now devotes herself to painted portraiture (see www.meredithblackmore.com) and mural-painting. Recently, she was featured on Bravo TV's Star Portraits. Teaching has been a consistent thread for over 10 years: her experience spans 3 continents and all ages. Meredith continues to marvel at witnessing a blank canvas become a work of art.
